This is a photo collection of GLBT rallies and pride events after the historical California ballot initiative that amended the state constitution, making same-sex marriages against the law. On Nov. 4, 2008, California became the first state to rescind same-sex marriages from the GLBT community, and upheld the ban as constitutional in May 2009.
